Adelson Galleries is pleased to present American Impressionism and Realism, a survey of American paintings from 1865 to 1950. This collection of more than fifty oils, watercolors, pastels, and drawings features works by Mary Cassatt, William Merritt Chase, Childe Hassam, Maurice Prendergast, John Singer Sargent, and James Whistler, among other luminaries in the field. The portraits, landscapes, and gritty urban scenes included in the show highlight the achievements of Impressionists and Realists alike in a most vital moment of American art history.

The exhibition will run from May 2nd through July 28th. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and will be open three Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM: May 7th, 14th, and 21st.
