We are pleased to announce that Adelson Galleries will be opening a Boston location in early October. Building upon Warren Adelson’s 40-year history of placing important works of art in major private collections and leading public institutions, his son Adam Adelson will open a gallery at 520 Harrison Avenue in Boston. Located in the emerging SoWa arts district in Boston’s South End, Adelson Galleries Boston is situated on two levels of a brick loft building with high ceilings and natural light.
With plans to show contemporary and modern art in a variety of aesthetics, director Adam Adelson observes, “There is a multitude of fine art in our world today, and we plan to exhibit pieces that in some small way define our generation.”
Adelson Galleries Boston will open on October 5, 2012, with a cocktail reception for Andrew Stevovich: Games and Players, an exhibition of recent works by the artist which continues through November 17th. Future plans include exhibiting the work of Jacob Collins, Marcus Reichert, and Winfred Rembert.
